Inicialmente a minha intervenção na ilustração não passaria de alguns elementos do universo místico do autor da obra (José de Matos-Cruz) complementando a personagem principal do capitulo e cenário que seria feita pelo ilustrador principal.
Mas deixei-me levar pelo meu "muso inspirador" e não consegui parar até ter a ilustração totalmente concebida, à partida somente para satisfazer a minha vontade criativa. No entanto, tive a sorte que o resultado do meu ímpeto pessoal, acabou por satisfazer o imaginário tanto do autor do livro como do ilustrador encarregue da maior parte da ilustração.
A ilustração final patente no livro é uma expansão das intenções iniciais para a ilustração.
This illustration was meant to serve as a bridge between authors, characters and universes. Initially the illustration would only have some mystical elements of the universe of the author's work (José de Matos-Cruz) made by me to complement the main character and setting of the chapter that would be done by the main illustrator.
But I let myself go and could not stop until I had done the illustration, only to satisfy my creative inspiration. However, I was fortunate that the result of my personal impetus, satisfied the imagination of both the author of the book and the main illustrator. The final illustration in the book is a expansion of the initial intentions for the illustration.
