17º FIBDB – Fotos / Photos

O 17º Festival Internacional de BD de Beja inaugurou no passado fim-de-semana e eu marquei presença no Domingo, com várias apresentações e sessão de autógrafos.
A minha participação no programa do evento passou, em primeiro lugar, por apresentar a edição BD Montijo: Iniciação à Arte Sequencial– Antologia I, publicada pela Câmara Municipal de Montijo, na sequência da mostra retrospectiva dos trabalhos dos cursos de banda desenhada que coordenei a convite do município, entre 2018 e 2020.
Este volume, no qual ilustrei a capa, contém as BDs de meus alunos, como Jorge Rodrigues, José Bandeira, Maria João Claré, Patrícia Costa e Yves Darbos, que me acompanharam na sessão e falaram das suas experiências.

Também fiz o lançamento da antologia Aurora Boreal em Reflexos Partilhados, por José de Matos-Cruz, em coedição Kafre-Arga Warga, onde publiquei uma BD curta e ilustrei a capa. Esta edição é-me muito próxima, pois fui coautora da personagem em 2011, a convite e em parceria com o José, o escritor deste universo ficcional e criador da heroína literária.
Entre os autores convidados que integram a edição, fui acompanhada na sessão pelos colegas José Bandeira e Nuno Dias.

Paralelamente, ainda promovi, com colegas do col. Tágide, o fanzine Outras Bandas #7 – Heróis Portugueses II.

The 17th Beja International Comics Festival opened last weekend and I attended on Sunday, with several presentations and an autographs session.
My participation in the event's program was, firstly, to present BD Montijo: Iniciação à Arte Sequencial – Antologia I, the edition published by the Municipality of Montijo, following the retrospective exhibition of the comics works from my courses that I coordinated at an invitation from the municipality, between 2018 and 2020.

This volume, in which I illustrated the cover, contains short comics by several of my students, including Jorge RoD! Rodrigues, José Bandeira, Maria João Claré, Patrícia Costa and Yves Darbos, who accompanied me in the session and spoke about their experiences in these formations.

I also released the anthology Aurora Boreal in Shared Reflections, by José de Matos-Cruz, co-published by Kafre-Arga Warga, where I published a short comic and illustrated the cover. This edition is very close to me, as I co-authored the character in 2011, by invitation and in partnership with José, the writer of this fictional universe and creator of this literary heroine.
Among the guest authors that make up the book, I was accompanied by my colleagues José Bandeira and Nuno Dias.

At the same time, I also promoted, with colleagues from the Tágide collective, the Outras Bandas #7 – Heróis Portugueses II.
