Hoje
fui surpreendida por uma nomeação nos 3ºs Prémios Bandas Desenhadas, na categoria Melhor BD Curta em Antologia. O
trabalho em causa tem o título “Menino Perdido” e já tem alguns
anos – mencionei-o aqui –, mas só recentemente organizei ideias
quanto ao argumento escrito, quando se proporcionou editá-lo no
Outras Bandas #4. Fico feliz por ser seleccionada pelo júri e ainda
mais por poder partilhar uma outra nomeação com os autores amigos
do col. Tágide, para Melhor
Antologia!
Estas
indicações na 1ª ronda de selecções do 3º PBD somam sete vezes
que o Tágide obteve nomeações a nível nacional, depois de ser
finalista em duas entradas para Melhor Publicação Independente e
vencedor em Melhor Obra Curta no XVII Troféus Central Comics (2020),
e em Melhor Antologia e Melhor BD Curta em Antologia no 2º Prémios
Bandas Desenhas (2020). É-me particularmente gratificante observar
estes apreços uma vez que foram os meus cursos Iniciação
à Arte Sequencial que puseram em marcha o projecto Tágide e
deram o empurrão inicial a muitos dos meus colegas para se
aventurarem criativamente em banda desenhada.
Today
I was surprised by a nomination in the 3rd Bandas Desenhadas Awards,
in the category Best Short Comic in Anthology. The work in question
is titled “Menino Perdido/Lost Boy” and is already a few years
old – I mentioned it here – but I only recently organized ideas
about the written script, when it the chance came about to have it
published in the comics anthology Outras Bandas #4. I am happy to
have been selected by the jury and even more to be able to share
another nomination with my authors friends from the Tágide
collective, for Best Comics Anthology!
These
indications in the 3rd PBD's 1st round of selections add up seven
times that Tágide got nominations in portuguese awards, after being
finalist in two entries for Best Independent Publication and winner
in Best Short Comic at XVII Central Comics Trophies (2020), and in
Best Comics Anthology and Best Short Comic in Anthology at the 2nd
Bandas Desenhas Awards (2020). It is particularly gratifying for me
to grasp these appreciations, since it was my Initiation to
Sequential Art courses that started the Tágide project and gave the
initial push to many of my colleagues to venture out creatively in
comics.
