Foi
anunciado na semana passada, no blogue TágideBD, a dissolução do
colectivo Tágide,
com a edição do 10º fanzine, Outras
Bandas
#9,
que conclui este projecto de banda desenhada iniciado há pouco mais de
4 anos.
Derivado
dos meus cursos Iniciação à Arte Sequencial (2018-2019), a
descoberta de novos talentos na cidade levou à criação deste grupo
autoral, com vista a “embrionar” estes novos autores na BD
portuguesa. Cumprido esse objectivo, o colectivo deixa de se
apresentar como grupo autoral e cessa a edição do Outras
Bandas,
mantendo só o convívio informal.
Em
jeito de despedida, foram destacados vários trabalhos que os colegas
do grupo se encontram a desenvolver a solo. Entre
estreantes absolutos e talentos com experiência prévia, o Tágide
foi responsável por lançar (e, nalguns casos, relançar) cerca de
doze autores no sector da BD portuguesa, a maioria dos quais se
encontra a produzir as suas obras na área. Pela minha parte, não
podia estar mais orgulhosa destes autores, que espero nos tragam
muitas e boas BDs!
Last
week, on the TágideBD blog, the dissolution of the Tágide
collective was announced, with the edition of the 10th fanzine,
Outras
Bandas
#9, which concludes this comic project that was started just over 4
years ago.
Derived
from my Initiation to Sequential Art courses (2018-2019), the
discovery of new talents in my hometown led to the creation of this
creative group, which aimed to incentivise these new authors in
Portuguese comics. Having achieved this objective, the collective
ceases to present itself as a group and ceases to publish Outras
Bandas, only maintaining the informal monthly gathering.
As
a farewell, several works that the group's colleagues are developing
solo were spotlighted. Between absolute newcomers and talents with
previous experience, Tágide was responsible for launching (in some
cases, relaunching) around twelve authors in the Portuguese comics
sector, most of whom are currently producing their works in the
field. For my part, I couldn't be more proud of these authors, who I
hope will bring us many good comics!
