Nos
passados dias 6 e 7/10, a convite da Biblioteca Municipal Dr. Hermínio Paciência, realizei a oficina "Histórias aos Quadrados,"
inserida no programa do 1º Festival de Fanzines e de Banda Desenhada
de Alpiarça, coordenado pelo município e pela Associação
Tentáculo.
A formação, dirigida ao público mais jovem que já
ensinei, focou-se nos princípios fundamentais da arte sequencial,
mas realizados com recursos e formatos digitais, como em mobile
comics, que os alunos já têm hábito de manusear.
Agradeço
o convite e oportunidade. E espero que, em breve, os alunos possam
aplicar em prática a teoria e exemplos que apresentei.
De
seguida, no Sábado, pude ainda participar no núcleo do evento, no
Mercado Municipal, onde estive com mesa de autor e com uma exposição
espontânea, mostrando alguns trabalhos impressos de banda desenhada
e de ilustração.

October 6th and 7th, at the invitation of Dr. Hermínio Paciência Municipal Library, I conducted the workshop "Histórias aos Quadrados/Comics Strips", part of the 1st Alpiarça Fanzines and Comic
Festival’s program, coordinated by the municipality and Tentáculo
Association. The workshop, aimed at the youngest audience that I have
ever taught, focused on the fundamental principles of sequential art,
but carried out using digital resources and formats, as in mobile
comics, which the students are already used to handling.
Thank
you for the invitation and opportunity. And I hope that, soon,
students will be able to apply in practice the theory and examples I
presented.
Later,
on Saturday, I was also able to participate in the event’s center,
at the Municipal Market, where I attended with an author's table and
with a spontaneous exhibition, showing a few printed comics pages and
illustration works.
